The Cyprus Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) continued its upward trend albeit with a declining pace. Two major factors contributed to that: Primary the reduced demand from foreign investors due to stricter provisions introduced to the Cyprus Investment Programme (CIP) and secondary the uncertainty created by the coronavirus pandemic.
Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) said on Wednesday its compiled RPPI rose by an annual 1.8% in the first quarter of 2020 compared with an increase of 2.2% in Q4, 2019 and 2.8% in Q3.
